Do you work hard building your business, and are ready for publicity, but can’t find a way to get the media to cover your story?  

What's important to you and your business, isn’t necessarily what’s important to the media. Even if you attract some interest, they often don’t ask the questions that lead into the messages you need to send out to showcase your business- so you do a terrific job feeding into their article but it works for them, not you. And that's not great use of your time.

Guy Clapperton started his professional life as a journalist in the trade press in 1989; since then you may have seen him in the Guardian, on TV or online as one of the first journalists to be paid for writing on the Web in the mid-1990s. He started coaching people to talk to the press in 2002 and is still in contact with the Microsoft executive he helped.
