THE HERTS BUSINESS EXPO GEARS UP FOR ITS FOURTH BUSINESS EVENT

 

Knebworth Barns plays host to The Herts Business EXPO with guest speaker Perry McCarthy, the original ‘Stig’ from Top Gear.

 

The Herts Business EXPO is the biggest business event of its kind in Hertfordshire, having outgrown its original home at the Mercure in Watford, it welcomes Hertfordshire businesses to Knebworth Barns on Wednesday 21st November for a day of workshops, networking and presentations from the country’s most inspirational business speakers.

This bi-annual event runs from 10:00am to 3:30pm. It is FREE to attend, making it a not-to-miss event for SME’s with speaker highlights including:

  • 10.30am Martin Keepfer, UK Trade & Investment

  • 11.15am and 1:30pm Janette Faherty, OBE, Digital Youth Academy  
  1. oTaking your Business Social
  • 12.15pm and 2:15pm Maree Atkinson, Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)

  • 2.30pm Perry McCarthy, the original ‘Stig’
  1. oDriving your business forward with hard work, skill and sheer determination

The event kicks off with an intimate networking breakfast at 8am, hosted by not-for-profit organisation biz4Biz in the Manor Barn. biz4Biz represents the interests of Hertfordshire businesses, by influencing policies and encouraging investment to benefit and grow the local business community. Entry is £25, which includes a buffet style networking breakfast, followed by a presentation from guest speaker Stephen Harvard Davis. With over twenty-five years management experience at strategic levels and a leading B2B consultant, speaker and writer. Stephen will use true stories and humour to show how team results can be achieved faster by not taking prisoners.

 

Jeremy Jacobs will compere the event. As well as strong credentials in broadcasting and corporate presenting, Jeremy has the experience of a twenty-five year career in sales which will add an authentic business edge to his delivery on the day.

A Speed Networking taster session will take place at the Manor Barn at 11:00am. This FREE event will follow the matrix of The Business Club, with round tables of 7, rotating throughout the hour-long event. With a capacity of 100, attendees are encouraged to pre-book their place [link here] and come armed with plenty of business cards, flyers and a lot of energy.
